Not every company that launches a game of sports with a variation of more than two years between their releases. Usually such games are launched with annual constancy, suffering minor changes and, every 3 or 4 years, receiving a major modification that marks this edition.

After that defense, the game should have ended tragically, however, the last game in the Virtua Tennis series has been launched for over two years (Virtua Tennis 3, which arrived on 20 March 2007 and was a success), and now the EMS is showing the public the new title of the series: Virtua Tennis in 2009.
